Ceilidh Knights

Ceilidh Knights are a well established Ceilidh Band in the North East having performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and fund raising events throughout the region. The band can not only provide superb music for ceilidh dancing with an excellent caller, but it can also mix in Ballroom or Sequence Dance music and if wanted either a disco or the superb Party Band from North East Soiree. From the North East’s most spectacular castles, hotels and stately homes, to village halls, marquees and even private houses, Ceilidh Knights have performed in over 100 venues. The band regularly performs in Northumberland, Newcastle, Durham, Teesside but has also performed ceilidhs in Scotland, Yorkshire and the Lake District.

Consisting of an experienced Scottish caller (with over 20 years experience running Ceilidhs), violin, bass, keyboards and drums, Ceilidh Knights provides the perfect ceilidh experience. In addition to traditional and modern ceilidh music, the same players can play popular and sequence dance music with the addition of a saxophone, giving the opportunity for a mix of musical styles to please a variety of tastes.

Ceilidh Knights is part of North East Soiree, a group of professional musicians who provide a variety of musical ensembles from String Quartet, Jazz Bands, Background Duo, Swing Band and Covers band.
