North East Soiree provide professional musical entertainment for weddings, parties and corporate functions all over the North East of England. This group regularly perform in Durham, Newcastle upon Tyne, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Darlington and all over the North East, Tyne and Wear, Northumberland, County Durham, Teeside and North Yorkshire areas.

North East Soiree - String Quartet

String Quartets are very popular for the wedding ceremony, Drinks Receptions and for corporate entertainment to give a pleasant background atmosphere to a reception or meal. North East Soiree have an extensive String Quartet Repertoire of Jazz, Classical and modern pop music available. North East Soiree are happy to specially perform music of your choice at no extra charge with all arrangements done in house. Wind and Sax quartets are also available on request and the same players can then swap instruments to form a completely different style group. This option is a little louder than a String Quartet and so can be heard more easily in large venues.

North East Soiree - Bollywood String Quartet

The North East Soiree Bollywood String Quartet has a repertoire of well known Bollywood tunes from the films", all arranged in-house and has proved to be a very popular at Asian weddings. The String Quartet is a double surpris as guests arrive to see the quartet playing and then to hear music that the guests recognise prior to the wedding as well as during the actual wedding ceremony. North East Soiree - Background Music

Three members of the North East Soiree String Quartet can change instruments to form a Violin (or Sax), Piano and Double Bass Trio playing gentle jazz music for receptions and meals. The same players can provide String Trio for the wedding ceremony then swap instruments for jazz at no extra charge. There are other options available for example Violin Piano duo for Popular, Classical, Folk or Jazz background music. The musicians with this option can also play Violin and Cello (or Double Bass) Duo during the actual ceremony then swap instruments to Violin Piano or Piano Bass Duos for a refreshing change of style and sound. The Sax Piano Duo is also available for well known popular music during either a meal or drinks reception. Please discuss requirements as there are so many combinations available to suit different taste, requirements and budgets. North East Soiree just want to give the customers the music they want.

A Ceilidh is a very good way to start an evening party off and the moves are very simple so that anyone can Ceilidh dance even with no prior experience. This Band starts the night with Sax, Piano, Bass and Drumsplaying background jazzy music gradually becoming more and more lively leading to the 1st dance on CD then straight into the Ceilidh.

North East Soiree - Jazz Trio, Jazz Band or full Swing Band with Singer

The North East Soiree Jazz band is available in many forms from a gentle background Trio up to a superb full Swing band with either male or female singers, 2 Saxes, Piano, Bass and Drums. All the variations of the band perform well known Jazz and Blues standards with a variety of Latin numbers. The style of the band is ideal for 40's theme parties weddings and corporate entertainment functions. The swing band can be followed with the pop Party band or disco so give something for everyone.

North East Soiree - Wedding and Corporate Party Band

This 100% live high energy Party band is formed by adding two musicians to the Jazz or Ceilidh Band. This energetic and highly entertaining 6 piece Party Band performs well known rock and pop hits from the 60s to modern hits and is completely 100% live! North East Soiree - Medieval Music

Ideal for Themed events at Medieval buildings and Castles within the region. North East Soiree can provide music from the Renaissance, Medieval and Tudor periods on original reproduction instruments in costume. Suitable for a banquet with lots of interest for the guests to see and hear ancient instruments in their original setting! The instruments include Crumhorns, Recorders, Bass Rackett, Viol da Gamba and Hand Drums

North East Soiree - Disco and Karaoke

North East Soiree own DJs will play CDs through the same band PA system for any of the evening band set-ups - for example for the 1st dance, during the interval, or a Disco section at the end of the night after the band till midnight. North East Soiree have its own DJ with full professional CD twin decks, mp3 players and laptop with a variety of good modern lighting rigs available for large and small venues. Special Requests

Arrangements are all written in house with no extra charge for this as long as at least two weeks notice is given for arrangements. We are very flexible so please just ask for your special music particularly during the wedding ceremony.

Certificates

All the equipment used is PAT tested and have Public Liability Insurance and Health & Safety documents available including Risk Assessment and policy documents which are required for some venues. Please discuss requirements and send an email for a copy of the relevant documents to be sent directly to the Venue.

From as little as £220 for a Duo to between £400 and £1150 for a large all day combined event including String Quartet, Full Swing Jazz Band with Singer, then a Ceilidh, then the Party Band and DJ.
